Well I hope you all survived the snow this past weekend. I know my kids were having a blast sledding in the neighborhood. Our meeting is this week. Our speaker is Reverend Jimmy McPherson. We start spring session tomorrow- WHO HOO!! Leadership just got back from their winter retreat. We got a break from our wonderful families to hang with our MOM family and plan! We have a lot of speakers and great crafts for the spring!

Meeting day is tomorrow. Don’t forget we start at 9:30 sharp. Our very own Mentor Eileen will be speaking. We will also be packing our Operation Christmas Child Boxes so don’t forget to bring in your items for your boxes.

Speaker tomorrow is Janet Leighton- Title of Talk- When 10 is not enough- Formally of St. Paul’s, Darien, CT, Former Coordinator of Darien MOPS
Janet Leighton and her husband Christopher enrolled in Trinity’s first class in 1976, and have served in the Church since graduation. Janet’s call is to be a servant of the Word written, spoken, prayed, and sung. She regularly teaches the Bible, and has spoken, and published numerous articles on worship, marriage/family, prayer, and discipleship. The Leightons have four children and ten grandchildren.
We will also be learning about Operation Christmas Child- A small shoebox can have a big impact. What goes into the box is fun, but what comes out of it is eternal. Be a part of changing children’s lives all over the world in Jesus’ Name through the power of a simple gift with Operation Christmas Child.

Calvary Parking lot is closed. You can not park in lot but you can walk on it to get to doors. They are starting their a pavement project for a new driveway
Bunny Potts speaking on: building independence, responsibility and confidence in kids.
Bunny Potts is a retired elementary school principal from New Canaan.

The talk is about Marriage. I hear that she is a wonderful speaker and therapist. I am really looking forward to the speaker.
